The life of a wela

A wela is a person who doesn’t work. I am not talking about people who for some valid reason can not work, but those who do not WANT to work.

Let’s just agree for the sake of the post that those ambassadors from Kaam-Nahi-Karna-istan are amazing people, which they could be since they don’t do anything they in reality are doing A LOT.

Where will you find them:-

  • Around girl’s colleges
  • Near the entrance to your local store
  • In shopping malls just hanging around
  • In hospitals (checking up on nurses)
  • On the cellphone ALL the time
  • On the net 24 hours a day, but NEVER on a job site

Few things wele people do:-

  • Never wake up on time
  • Never go look for work (they want people to knock on their door for work)
  • Sleep very very late
  • Do everything and anything
  • Help their friends with everything, but never help the family
  • Believe that without them the world will vanish
  • Want to get married as soon as possible.. just waise hi

I wrote and sang a song few years back about “Wele” people… jobless in other words.. and no it’s nothing wrong in being jobless, I was as well. What’s wrong is not doing anything and making excuses :P

What are your views on the welapaness amongst today’s youth… well not only youth it can be in the uncle shuncles too.. How can we get more WELE people to start working and realizing how important it is not only for them but for their aane wali generation.

Steps to reach your goals

A friend sent a few ebooks to me about setting goals and I got the time to read one of them about defining goals. Quite good stuff it was and although we mostly know what we want but the way we go about doing things makes one thing harder to achieve than the other.

Some things to note down and remember them to be on the right track:-

  • Wake up early to plan the rest of your day
  • If you aren’t reaching your goal then ask yourself if you really are doing enough
  • In order to be successful all you need is determination and the right spirit
  • Set your priorities straight, because without knowing what is important you won’t manage anything
  • Give time to those things that mean a lot to you and DO them as well

But how do YOU manage your tasks, and what is your successful path to reaching your goals? Do you go by your own rules or just become a superman/woman by doing everything at once…? Do share :)

Life is a roller coaster ride and I have had my share of it in the past two years. I wrote something about memories a while back and now it’s time again.

A dear friend of mine had an accident two years ago, and since then she has:-

  • Had over 8 surgeries
  • Had 14 memory losses
  • Had lost her voice
  • Had lost feelings in her legs
  • Had lost feelings in her arms

Despite all things docs said, like she won’t be able to talk, she won’t be able to talk. This girl has spoken, has walked on her feet, has been able to portray the most loveliest of ideas and emotions through her writing. Most of you could just guess who this might be hmm

All due to the hospital’s blunder that they didn’t test her when she had the head to head collision in her car, they just said minor injury to leg and sent her home two years ago.

That one mistake led her into a whirlwind and has turned everything in her life upside down. There is absolutely no one who knows her that doesn’t think and believe she is an angel. And yet again.. today I am sitting here to be in her book of “those she doesn’t remember”.. ofcourse I will manage it.. so what if I have to yet again remind her who I am, I did it 14 times before. And so what if she doesn’t remember who I am, I know who she is.. I am more charged than ever and have my mum’s blessings and my friend’s good wishes with me.

I got this sms where it says “I am going to be back in a moment but if I don’t.. please take care of your mum and everyone around you.. you mean the world to me. I feel we are going to be together for a long time.. but if it’s not the case please forgive me”

And yet again, Allah has taken her n back to a point where she doesn’t remember anyone .. only thing she remembers is her nickname and my name – If she says it in front of her dad.. things can go a bit wrong :)

Something amazing happened.. yet again

Docs said yesterday that she won’t make it, she hasn’t responded to anything the past 10 hours. But we been praying since morning and knew God would listen. But when the docs gave everyone a few minutes to talk to her, I suggested to her sister that she takes an mp3 with my voice and plug it on her since she wasn’t responding to anyone. And after one minute the docs told her sister to GO OUT HURRY GO OUT OF THE ROOM!!!

And what happened I asked her sis.. she goes “The moment the nurse plugged the mp3 in her ears, just seconds later sis started to breath…” SubhanAllah nothing is impossible for God only he is able to do what everyone thinks is impossible..

Sometimes I wonder how this world is going around. Now I know… It’s still running because God has placed on this earth individuals who are here to teach us that “This is Pure LOVE.. this is what you should mean when you SAY you love someone” … She told me once that no matter how deep in a coma I am at I can hear you.. if only you call my name. Yes my Love, I believe you I really do :)

The above incident is as true as the fact that you and I are breathing right now. It’s one of my life’s most treasured moments. Something I felt I could share with all who think that these things only happen in movies.. to make them see .. ke haan mere yaar

“Sacha pyar hota hei kyunke I am experiencing it..”
