Too Much Hate

Written by :

I usually don’t get mad that much. But when I do it’s usually due to double standards from either our own community or any other. In this case it’s about a few “radical” minds of some ethnic Norwegians who are way too scared of Islam.

A girl got a job in 7-Eleven and the moment she put on her hijaab or just lets say something to cover her head cuz that’s what she wanted to. As I doubt that would have disabled her in attending to give good service to customers and so on. But oh no.. the 7-Eleven boss goes.. “Sorry you can’t have that on you” . The girl ran out crying and now filed a suit against 7-Eleven.

Lots of bloggers are saying their bit, so as an analyst of such wierd stuff I would like to say just one thing. The past few months of “defacing Islam” has gone way over the top. And i mean WAY OVER THE TOP!

I am kind of sick of reading again and again about people saying “oooh we are so scared of Islam it’s gonna brainwash people” .. Hello.. let everyone live their life, if someone wants to stay whatever religion they are let them be, if someone doesn’t let them be.

What is wrong with some people nowadays..? Has everyone gone on the mission to show the level of their stupidity that they can not even manage to see some girls in scarfs anymore wondering if they hiding a knife under their jacket or something.

If those bloggers really see the way the proper Islam is they would probably think a trillion times before saying anything. As one who practices, prays 5 times and doesn’t have time to do anything bad to anyone, they can’t and shouldn’t lie. They can’t create situations which make it worse for other human beings to manage to live their lives.

I mean this is so pathetic.. i have never been told by our Imam in the local mosque that “Wakas, You get a gun and kill everyone who is not a Muslim”  neither have i ever been told “Wakas, everyone who is a non-Muslim is your enemy”…

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr (sorry but too much hijaab talk is making me kind of lose it) breathing in and out in and out..

ok now i am better :)

Ok guys n gals.. introducing Makhan ji (Butter ji) a new comic strip i am working on. Using a few tools here n there i will be just trying my own chote mote se scenes that I see around in our desi community and families :)

Makhan is not the sharpest knife in the drawer but has lots of experience “due to his age”. He likes to tell his kids things which most of the time backfire. He is afraid of his wife as well but tries to make everyone feel that he is the boss at home. He has three kids, two guys and one girl. One neighbour  he has is married to a beautiful lady which Makhan fancies.

Give and get back ten folds

Charity is one thing that lots of people don’t think so much about. Or maybe if they do they think it has everything to do with money and nothing else. So they kind of back out whenever someone says would you give some charity to this or that cause.

But why do we forget that sometimes helping someone needy, give them some time, fix someone’s issues for them, guide them, show them bit of love, and take out time for someone is a charity on its own. A pure charity that might never take a single cent out of your pocket.

I have had moments in the past when I had given lots of times to lots of people in my life who might be going through tough times. And amazing thing that touched me so much was when I was down for some reason, the same words were said to me to make me feel better. That was just out of the world to see that someone somewhere is so changed that now they can help out others including those they said they learnt these things from. I learn every single day and whatever I learn I share it on my shows or the blog. So in this learning process we all learn together hand in hand :)

So idea behind this post is. Give as much as you can, hold no boundry to any love or care you show to others.. and one day or the other.. it will come back ten folds and sometimes even more :)
