Illness and our emotions
Written by : MoodyGuyAfter seeing my mum in hospital the past few days i have seen one big difference in the way each of us is handling the situation. Apart from few of us “guys” who love our mums there are guys who don’t care that much.
My little sister who is 12 years old, prefers to spend time with mum helping her while even sleeping in a bed next to her in hospital rather than playing with her little cousins.
On the contrary some people would spend their whole week loafing around rather than spending even more than 10 minutes with their mum or asking about her health. This happens a lot these days.
I personally feel that my whole world revolves around my mother. Apart from the fact that she has given me so many reasons to love her to bits and take care of her I can’t think of one reason that would make me NOT long to see her everyday in the hospital and not pray that I wish she gets well.
I wrote something for mum some time back.. Dear Mum .. this one is for you
When someone is ill in your family only then you will realize their true value in your life, not only that, but also a way to find out how much others care about you is when you yourself fall ill. They say a person who gets very ill is also emotionally touchy, and that is very much true.
Give as much time as you can to those who are ill so atleast you fill that gap that is being put in them due to the medication.
God bless everyone and may God give everyone the understanding of how to treat those that are ill.. ameen
There are lots of things one can do or say to tell the one they love about them being faithful to them. But what is being faithful? Is it being with them forever and ever or respecting and understanding their love so deep that you move onto some of the toughest decisions of your life. Well it depends on the relation itself. Some relations demand lots of questioning and some relations are just soul to soul, that one can just close their eyes and be with them without them being right next to you.
