In reality Islam teaches us to be patient and be nice to others, but sadly the reality is the opposite for some people. Or maybe we can say that the media focuses on the bad apples rather the fresh ones that are nice to look at and “taste” good as well, yes I am talking about regular human beings who follow their Islamic teachings and are so nice that people look at them and use them as examples in their talks.

But what has happened now to the majority of people we see around us, ok let’s take religion on the side, doesn’t a human being have any obligation over the other? Don’t we all belong to just one species, of humans? I mean is there any reason that one shouldn’t be kind to anyone?

Often we see on youtube, on facebook, and other online media platforms, the kind of hate people show towards each other. Sadly the kind of comments you find on religious videos on youtube is so sad, because on one side a video would be about love and peace, but someone would jump in and say so rude things that one keeps on wondering, “would this person be able to say this face to face?”

Has the online media made us more “rude”, has the anonymous platforms made us so much in control that we feel that being rude is better than being kind?
