I recall that years ago when I was in Pakistan I used to give the call to prayer in the local mosque. That was before school and the rest of the prayers after school. Then at school I used to stand in front of the whole school reading bits of Quran, early in the morning, and another student would translate it.
Time moved on and I came to Norway, didn’t get the chance to do anything with the vocal front apart from doing radio shows, so after almost 15 years I have started reading the “call to prayer” in the mosques in Norway. So if I am at a mosque and it’s time to read the azaan, I usually would like to take the opportunity. Below is my attempt. Do dua that the deeds I get by reading this in the mosque, are deposited into my mother’s account, as she is with Allah swt.
Peaceful
