Maybe something to think about . . ?

* Character is like a tree and reputation is like its shadow; the shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.

* Reputation is what people may say about you on your tombstone; character is what God has written about you in his books.

* You can no more blame circumstances for your character than the mirror for your appearance.

* Other books were given for our information; the Quran was given for our transformation.

* You can learn a lot from reading the Quran; you can learn still more by practicing it.

* The value of the Quran is not knowing it, but obeying it.

* When anger rises, think of the consequences.

* Never answer an angry word; it is the second one that starts a quarrel.

* We don’t use people to build a great Masjid; we use the Masjid to build great people.

* When looking for faults, use a mirror, not a telescope.

* Most people are willing to meet each other halfway; trouble is, most people are pretty poor judges of distance.

* If God is kept outside, there is something wrong inside.

*  Some people say they have become broad-minded when they have only stretched their consciences.

* If we cannot have what we like, maybe we can appreciate what we have.

*  A Muslim is one who does not need to consult his bank balance to see how wealthy he is.

* Dishonesty is a coward’s way of getting out of trouble.

* Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you will have no time for criticism of others.

N a promise to fulfill N value this Promise to infinity :-) [Insha-Allah]

Intentions,Actions N our Life

Remember, people will judge you by your actions, not your intentions.  You may have a heart of gold – but so does a hard-boiled egg.

Exactly :-) anyones Intentions are something nobody else should bother about I guess, because that’s something between God N the person. What this world see N what we between us people share are actions N our actions is something we judge others from N our actions are something people judge us about. Even if our intentions are good-better-best, but our actions are not proper N not that giving that ”nice” signal, it’s definitely actions that count. Intentions are something that’s a personal matter between any individual N God, which in my opinion nobody else have nothing to do with, none of anyones business. But on the other hand our actions tell lot about us, as well as they tell quite some about our intentions I guess. If you have a heart of Gold [according to you] then show it, act like you’re a Gold-hear carrier, because  nobody but God can look inside your heart. Very true that as long as God’s happy N you  do good deeds only for God it’s more than enough, but right here there is another thing one should know: If your actions towards God’s people are not good N right, you intentions are not gonna help you the slightest.  We can’t do something bad saying our intentions were good, I would say it’s better off not doing it. N similarly do something good but having bad intentions is equally disgusting. So this quote is so true to its every word, our intentions are our personal matter, our actions creat our personality, our character, N in the end our destiny.
