The BIG change!
Written by : MoodyGirlFew days back [8th august 2010] me, hubby N his little sister went to mosque for a seminar, for a lecture by Maulana Tariq Jameel , N am grateful that we did, because listening to him have changed us N our lives up side down [for the better, Alhamdulillah], our hearts are more filled with fear of Allah, we’re taking this life N this limited time on this earth more seriously, N will Insha-Allah with the help of Allah the merciful keep walking on this path that leads to peace N Allah Ki Raza! :-)
When we came back home, we started our journey that we should have done ages back, my hubby totally quited his online radio that used to play songs 24/7 since 6 long years. N he decided to not do his Live shows anymore which included songs dedications N everything. Instead he will Insha-Allah go for somethin Islamic. He been into radio N shows for almost 16years, thoughts many times to quit but Shaitaan would not let him, but then the Wasila cam in form of Maulana Tariq Jameel N throwing it all aways felt such a relieve N was so easy N he feel so much at peace, looking at that I feel like life is heaven on earth. We have started praying five times daily N will Insha-Allah make sure we continue with this throughout this life time.
If I look at this whole change, what I think of is that we humans are not that weak, we are not born weak, instead we make our self weak by running after temptations N things we should stay away from. By not doing what Allah the merciful order us to do, we help Shaitaan with his challenge, N do we want that? NO! then we should really keep a close eye on our actions N intentions.
Saying that we are muslims, N acting exactly as non-Muslims, in next life we will end up with those we acted as. Just like the rule over here in this world: Actions speaks louder that words similarily when we think of our rewards in the hereafter our actions will speak louder.
Am grateful N am very at peace now, it feels like actually breathing N alive. Keeping us protected from everything that Allah have ordered us to is to actually taking care of our self. This world is such a temporarily place, N we humans are living as we never will die, how unfortunate is this? Making this world our home is not a wise thing, this is not the destination it is just a stop N we will have to move ahead.
People cry day night for someone they so called “love”, they worry if they “love” them back or not, they keep on missing them N thinking about them, getting sad for them, writing poetry for them, dedicating songs to them, N they are so much lost in these things that they can’t listen to Azaan where Allah is calling them, they miss their Salah, they don’t get time to read the letter Allah sent to them [The Quraan] N all that for what? For a human being the say they “love”? Without Nikah, loving someone N leading a relationship is sin N is NOT allowed in Islam, how dare we then call it right? The guy/girl we claim to love or who claim to love us will not come to our rescue if we die today! Listening to music is Haram in Islam, then how dare we believe that it is the medicine for our soul. NO NO NO it’s not! In Islam women are not allowed to go out without being totally covered, still we dare to not follow the rule of Hijab? We can not go against Allah’s order N then try to justify it with our cheap excuses, we just cannot! I feel so heavy in heart writing all this, because we all are walking at a road that only leads to fire the burning fire. What are we gonna do then? who will help us? will we be able to Ask Allah to help us, when he call us now N we can’t take out time to listen? [pray].
I consider myself as the most sinful person, I believe in working on oneself then to judge others, I am not at all capable of judging anyone, but yes from what I have learned I can say this is not good this leads to no good. I pray with all my heart that Allah the merciful N greatest have mercy upon all of us, N give us the ability to see the right path N give us strength to actually follow it. Am indescribably thankful to Allah that he have put this fear in our hearts, N we are thinking bit different now, thinking right way. Allah bless everyone N may “their” Maulana Tariq Jameel reach them all very soon, before it’s too late. [BeshaK Hidiayat Wohi Paate Hain Jinhe Allah Hidiayat Deta Hai, we can only keep our hearts N minds open] :-) Ramadan Mubarik to each N every Muslim!!
